When we are brand new in the Network Marketing industry, we run into the challenge of “Why in the world would anyone want to work with me if I haven’t made any money yet and I don’t know what I’m doing?”
Can you relate?
Or, maybe we’ve been with a company now for quite some time and haven’t created the success story we would have hoped for…yet. Let’s discuss some MLM coaching here.
One principle aspiring home-based business owners must understand is that people buy into YOU more than anything else. Sure, the company or business we represent is important, but people are looking for leadership. People are looking for guidance. People want someone who can help lead them to success.
So how can we establish ourselves as a someone for people to follow when we are still working on our own success? Let’s discuss some helpful MLM tips to accomplish this.
First MLM tip, we must develop ourselves…our value. We must have something to “give” before we can expect to “receive”. How can we do this? By reading books on leadership and business skills, attending seminars, participating in training programs or mentoring experiences. As we build our value by working on ourselves, we will then have something in the “tank” to be able to share with those who need “gas”.
Leading by example. We must be willing to do what we are going to ask others to. When prospective business partners see we are a person of integrity because we “walk the walk” instead of just “talk the talk”, we build credibility in their eyes. We don’t have to be perfect. We just have to be willing to grow while we ourselves climb the ladder of success.
One characteristic of a leader and MLM coach is the willingness to teach. A newer person in the industry may feel unqualified to do this. The reality is, by participating in the training of our company and team; we will be exposed to a variety of topics each week. We can then turn around and share what we’ve learned by posting to our Blog, writing an article about a topic, or making a video about it. Be willing to teach and share.
What can we teach? Here are a few suggested topics to offer MLM help. Personal development, how to set up a capture page, how to approach people we know about a business, how to setup a blog, how to write a follow up email, how to setup and broadcast to a list via an autoresponder, how to communicate on Facebook and Twitter, how to make a video and where to post it, how to manage our time to be more productive, how to deal with negative people, etc. The list can go on and on.
Here’s one way we can come up with something to share. Go to EzineArticles.com and research a subject we are interested in. After reading an article on the topic a few times, we can then write an article of our own summarizing what we’ve learned in our own words. We can then submit that article, post it to our Blog, or make a video about it.
As we develop ourselves and offer MLM Coaching, we make ourselves attractive to others and enhance our value in their eyes.
